3rd Round: Picks 80-84
- Updated: May 9, 2014
80. New York Jets: Dexter McDougle, CB, Maryland. Plays the style that Rex Ryan really likes, as a press corner that can tackle.
81. Oakland Raiders: Gabe Jackson, G, Mississippi State. Jackson is a mauler, and will immediately add more toughness to the offensive line. The Raiders are doing a good job of becoming a physical team.
82. Chicago Bears: Will Sutton, DT, Arizona State. Sutton is a perfect fit as a 3-technique defensive tackle. He’s a quick, penetrating tackle, who has potential to make an impact as a rotational player.
83. Houston Texans: Louis Nix III, NT, Notre Dame. The best value selection of the third round. Nix (pictured above) could’ve went in the first and I wouldn’t have had a problem with it. If he stays in shape, can be one of the better nose tackles in the game.
84. Arizona Cardinals: Kareem Martin, DE, North Carolina. Martin was my 48th ranked player that can contribute early as a rotational defensive end for a very talented Cardinals defense.
