With the resigning of Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin it seems that DJax is unhappy in Philadelphia again. Captain holdout has been the sexy wr name that the Eagles have been shopping around with a lot of interest shown through out the league. New England is the most interesting, with resigning Edelman a draft day trade for the oft unhappy with the contract wr would make sense for both parties.
The Patriots should have 0 thoughts of drafting a wr. It is the one position that the coaching staff has had the most problems developmental wise, so why not? If the top 2 TE are gone then look for BB to trade back and could work nicely for Chip Kelly and company. 1 they get rid of a player who feels if he plays a full season he deserves another contract. 2 New England could use Amendola and there first round pick for a couple of the Eagles draft picks and still wind up with Austin Seferian-Jenkins in the 3rd round to fill that need. The addition of Amendola for the Eagles gives the another set of sure hands in case Maclin has a tough recovery.
So if the Eagles don’t pull the trigger soon then expect teams to be jumping over each other to get him.
