3rd Round: Picks 65-69

65. Houston Texans: C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa. The best dual-threat tight end in the draft, Fiedorowicz (pictured above) isn’t spectacular, but will be a productive tight end in the NFL for a decade. Great pick for Houston.
- Washington Redskins: Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia. I didn’t have Moses rated as highly as some, who were talking about him being a first-rounder. But, getting him in the third round is a value pick for the Redskins.
67. Miami Dolphins: Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota State. The Dolphins continue to build an offensive line that allowed Ryan Tannehill to get planted far too often.
68. Atlanta Falcons: Dezmen Southward, S, Wisconsin. Southward needs to grow as a player, but is blazing fast and is a smart player. A good fit for the Falcons, who need to improve in the defensive backfield.
69. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia. Doug Martin was injured last season, and Sims gives the Bucs some insurance as a hard-charging, physical running back.
