2nd Round: Picks 53-57

53. Green Bay Packers: Davante Adams, WR, Fresno State. Out goes James Jones. In comes Davante Adams (pictured above), who really reminds me of Jones. Adams competes and catches everything. If he was a little quicker and faster, would’ve been a top-20 pick.

54. Tennessee Titans: Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington. Sankey is a quick, dual-threat back, who has elusiveness. He reminds many of the Bengals’ Gio Bernard. Fills a need area for the Titans, who really lack playmakers on offense.

55. Cincinnati Bengals: Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU. My top-rated back in this draft. Hill brings three-down ability as a hard-charging running back. He also has surprising quickness for a man his size. He joins Gio Bernard to possibly form one of the better two-back tandems in the league.

56. Denver Broncos: Cody Latimer, WR, Indiana. The Broncos added a dynamic weapon with all the tools to be great. A perfect situation for Latimer, who should develop much more quickly with Peyton Manning than many other places. A luxury pick for the Broncos, who are already loaded with weapons.

57. San Francisco 49ers: Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State. Another luxury pick. Hyde is a big, powerful back and adds another talent to an already well-stocked position. Doesn’t have a real weakness, although I wish he was a little quicker through the hole and ran with better pad level.
