2nd Round: Picks 38-42

38. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington. The Bucs have really added some firepower offensively with their first two selections. Mike Evans (No. 7 overall) will be a force on the outside, and now Seferian-Jenkins (pictured above) brings the ability to work the deep middle.

39. Jacksonville Jaguars: Marqise Lee, WR, USC. Lee would’ve been a top-15 pick had he come out last year. Now, Lee joins first-round pick Blake Bortles (No. 3 overall) in an attempt to put more points on the scoreboard.

40. Detroit Lions: Kyle Van Noy, LB, BYU. Van Noy joins former teammate Ziggy Ansah (last season’s top pick) in what is one of the better front-7s in the NFL. Van Noy is a versatile outside linebacker, that can rush, cover and chase down plays. Now Detroit must address improving its secondary.

41. St. Louis Rams: Lamarcus Joyner, DB, Florida State. Joyner is a talented, instinctive, high-effort player who just finds the ball. Joyner and Jimmie Ward are the two most instinctive defensive backs in this draft. He’s versatile enough to play slot corner or any safety spot. Great pick. The Rams have owned this draft.

42. Philadelphia Eagles: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt. Matthews, isn’t a blazer, but is one of the best route runners in this draft. He has ideal size for the position and was extremely productive in the SEC. Will contribute as a solid No. 2 or 3 receiver in this draft.
